Our school is planning an election on October 20th for the year 2018-19 to elect representatives for various activities. The members will be selected from Classes IX to XII. A few names will be decided by teachers to represent the candidates. Lots will then be taken to decide the winners. The School Pupil Leader will be chosen from students moving to Class XII and students who will be going to Class X will be considered for Assistant School Pupil Leader.

For the posts of Discipline Committee leader, Cleanliness Committee leader, Arts Secretary and Literary Secretary, two students will be selected for each post. Each post will have one boy and one girl representative.

                               Students Council Elections

The elections of students’ council were held at BVM Sr. Sec. School on October 6, 2017. The preliminary round consisted of giving an impromptu speech on a topic. The candidates who had filed nominations were asked to give one minute speech on the topics on the chits they picked from the bowl.

In the second round all the elected students had to appear for an interview. A panel of experienced teachers headed by the vice-principal interviewed us. Finally 16 students from the four houses were elected. All the elected students were conferred designation badges and sashes in the investiture ceremony. We were also administered the oath of responsibilities.

Addressing the prefects, house captains, head boy, and head girl, the Principal explained to us the significance of our office. The prefects were appealed to be perfect role models for the school students in academics, discipline, and co-curricular activities. At the end the newly prefects were given duties by the House Incharges.
