Health Mela Organized At D.A.V Public School, Delhi
D.A.V Public School, Delhi organized Health Mela on December 20, 2017. The chief purpose behind the Meal was to spread health awareness among the students indicatively.
A whole gamut of activities such as Exhibition of charts, models and health promoting equipment, lectures, debate, plays on the theme of healthy habits were organized at various places in the campus. Students participated in the Mela activities quite enthusiastically.
A workshop on Low Calorie Cooking was also organized in which the students were taught how to make delicious low calorie dishes for themselves. The Mayor of the city, Mr. Surjan Singh was the chief guest. He congratulated and appreciated the School’s innovative initiative to promote healthy life-style habits among the youth. Parents also praised the school administration for organizing ‘Health Mela’ in the school.
