Preksha: Good day Hemant.
Hemant: Good day Preksha.
Preksha: I want to know about the plans of making our institution as
environment friendly. You are the president of the student
union. I heard you are planning some activities, right?
Hemant: Yes. Our state and central governments wants all institute
campuses to be green and environment friendly. So I am
implementing this from students' side.
Coming Saturday and Sunday we are planting around 500
saplings in the campus. We have the permission from the
chairman. All student leaders of the various sections and years
are informed. They are participating.
Preksha: That is good news. Congrats. I am happy. We will publish this
in the coming issue of our magazine "Glowing Fire". Is there
anything else too?
Hemant: Yes. We will have a parking lot at the gate of the institute. All
motor vehicles will be parked over there. We will allow only
bicycles inside the campus. Also we will allow electric skateboard,
electric roller skates and electric personal transporter.
Already the management has agreed to this proposal.
Preksha: That's wonderful. So we will be environment friendly soon.
Hemant: Further, we are inviting environmental scientist kvn to plant the
first sapling in our campus. We will paste some posters on the
campus soon, to raise the awareness.
Preksha: Okay, we will cover the week-end activities too.
Hemant: We are proposing to the management to get solar panels installed on
the library, workshop and administration buildings. That will save current
also. We are going to have two small ponds with coloured fish in them
inside the campus. One of our students' father is in that business. They
are going to do that for us.
Preksha: Wow, that's great. Okay, Hemant, Thanks for the interview. See
you soon.
Hemant: yeah! Bye Preksha. Nice talking to you.
