Last Friday, a seminar is organized in our school on birth anniversary celebration of Ishwar Chandra vidyasagar.
All the staff, principal and students participated in this session. The whole school was decorated with pictures of our national heroes on this day.
The honorable staff and principal were sitting on the stage. There different students deliver speeches on this special occasion.
Students informed audience about Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar who became a powerful voice contrary to women domination in the state and also spread widow remarriage. He was a respected figure in Bengal as he also played an important role in modernizing and streamlining the Bengali alphabet by generating "Barnaparichay".
At the end of session, students were awarded with prizes.
