Respected sir,
I am Madhavi Sahu, the cultural secretary of Govt HS School Makhanpur. I am also a daily reader of hyour newspaper. In this letter, I am writing about the farewell party organised by our school.
A farewell programme was organised by our school authority on 15th November,2019. It was the farewell of our English teacher, Vandita Basu. She was the senior-most teacher of our school. A cultural programme was also there and we gifted her flowers with a frame full of memories. She delivered a lovely speech about her journey in school and finally, she bid us goodbye.
I would be obliged if my writing gets a little space in your esteemed daily.
Yours faithfully,
Madhavi Sahu

Farewell Party
By Madhvi Sahu
Makhanpur, 5th November
The farewell party was organized by Govt. HS School, Makhanpur on the evening of 4th December 2020. This party was organized by the school to bid goodbye to the senior-most batch of the school. There were many cultural events including a ghazal recitation, flash mob, folk dance, and some other singing performances. The evening was full of joy and excitement.
The students of class 12th looked dazzling, the boys wore formal suits and the girls wore saris. All of them were really satisfied with the arrangements. The assembly hall where the farewell was conducted was decorated entirely with yellow roses and white balloons, the view was ecstatic.
An early dinner was served at 7 pm after which there was a small meet-and-greet for the seniors and juniors. It was a beautiful evening, and all the teachers, staff, and students relished it wholeheartedly.
