Yesterday, our organization ABC organized a cleanliness drive in Thane. The purpose of this Cleanliness drive was to create awareness about sanitation and its importance among people. Respected deputy commissioner came there as a chief guest to inspire the people. All the employers of our organization had participated in this program. The drive was started from 9 a.m. our Director started the program by cleaning the road. He delivered the speech regarding the importance of Cleanliness. It was a Great drive, and we all were happy to be a part of this drive.

Cleanliness Drive Organized at Greenwoods Global School
Cleanliness drive was organized at Greenwoods Global School on March 18, 2019. Students started the campaign from their respective classes. The House Captains, along with the entire team of prefects and volunteers, launched cleanliness drive throughout the school campus. They cleaned the school campus and planted approximately 2000 saplings along its boundary.
After the campus cleanliness, the team of volunteers went to the areas adjoining the school and did the cleaning. Our school’s efforts were praised by the Mayor of the city. The local press covered and lauded our school’s contributions in furthering the noble cause. Seeing us, the other schools will follow suit. The principal applauded the school captains, for their leadership qualities and were given commendation certificates. The students really felt a sense of satisfaction after doing a little towards making their country and surroundings a little cleaner.
