Circlers were sponsor for flower show organised by Kanpur flowers society.
The two day event was organised in the lush green J.K gardens on Saturday morning. The perfect weather, slow breeze and splashing green grass were all the ingredients for a perfect flower show to begin.
Our Tablers and circlers came in good numbers on the Saturday morning for inauguration of the flower show and to our pleasant surprise the Kanpurites also came in large numbers to watch the unveiling of this event.
The chief guest for the show was Dr. Gaur Hari Singhania & Govind Hari Singhania, both eminent personalities of Kanpur, who need no introduction were kind enough to inaugurate the event. Inspite of their busy schedule, they were perfectly on time and took keen interest in all the detailing of all type of flowers.
After the opening, there was no looking back, people of all age group came in large numbers to see the nature`s beauty. Tr. Dhruv`s Mother & our very own Ms. Sabina Kothiwal were all in and out to manage the show efficiently.
The beauty of roses, the smell of lilies, the eye catching arrangement of glad’s were just perfect for all of us to see what nature holds for us. All the stall holders were in full zeal to show their products. To my pleasant surprise, Tr. Dhruv & Tr. Moriya were very much into gardening and flower detailing.
Looking at the beautiful flower arrangements I could only say that If you think squash is a competitive activity, try flower arranging. All the participants had arranged for various verities of flowers and the show was a hit.
Next day, though being Sunday, more people poured in to witness the show. Ironically I remembered, a flower falls, even though we love it; and a weed grows, even though we do not love it. As the time arrived for the Prize distribution, the heart beat of all were raised. All the participants were excellent. Finally the judges, who had a tough time selecting the participants, announced the results and prizes distributed by our Tablers.
It was a perfect Sunday afternoon, all the Tablers interacted and circlers enjoyed.
