Teacher’s day is the national festival, and it is celebrated all over India. Teacher’s day is celebrated on 5th September every year, because of the Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was the former president of India, born on this day.
Th Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was born on 5thSeptember 1888. He was the great person, along with that he was philosopher, educationalist, humanist and a religious thinker. He was the great ability of write of books and also he wrote many books on religion and philosophy.
He taught as a professor of philosophy in several famous universities such as Mysore, Chennai, Kolkata and Oxford University in London. He was also appointed as the Chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC) in the year 1949 and being a teacher he always loved the teacher’s community.
Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishna became the former president in 1962. He had approached to the students and friends and requested him to allow them to celebrate 5th September on which day his birthday. He invited to all for celebrated his birthday as Teacher’s day, and it always would be the privilege.
In our school life, we celebrate teacher’s day with grandly with more of the fun. On that day students gives many of the gifts to their teachers. On this day flowers and best wishes are provided by the students to their teachers. Many of the students give extraordinary gifts to their teachers.
Even on this day, students try to make the much happy to their teachers by their different type of activities such as Dancing, singing. Teachers all this seeing feels very proud of their students.
Many of the students give the speech on this day for teachers. They give the speech on the importance of the teachers in our life. They all presents some of the awards to their teachers on their respective nature. They encourage the right teachers by giving the awards.
After all that, the principal of the school also gives the speech to help the students for their studies and future. He also gives more blessings and wishes to the students. His speech becomes more encouraged for the student’s life.
All that statements and activities may end and then starts the snacks time. The students may offer to the teachers some snacks and tea thus the celebrates it as the Teacher’s day.
