Annual function is the most important event in the school calendar. On 15thJuly, the foundation day of the school, our school organized the annual function is the school playground.

Our English teacher Mr. Sharma started the program by welcoming chief guest, the education minister of Delhi, and others. After this vice principal put his thoughts on education system. He emphasized the need for value based education. After this came the main part. Principal Sir discussed the result of this year. He congratulated toppers of all classes. He informed that our school also won awards in many extra curriculum activities. He invited the chief guest to distribute prizes among winners. Chief Guest also addressed the audience. He praised the performance of our school.

Many students performed on the stage. Most of the programs were inspired by our culture, moral education, films, and nationalism. This added the all new height to the function.

Finally Mr. Sharma ended the program with his thanks speech.

Annual Day Celebrated at Greenwoods Global School

Greenwoods Global School, City celebrated its annual day with unprecedented fanfare on January 6, 2020 at the school premises. The school was decorated elegantly. A grand stage had been set up with professional sound system. Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu, the Minister of Local Government, Tourism, Cultural Affairs, and Museums of the State of Punjab had been invited as the chief guest. He was given a floral welcome before he inaugurated the programme.

The talented students presented mesmerizing cultural events such as dances, plays, magic show, etc. Mrs. Swati Sehgal, the Principal read the annual report of the school. She made the audience aware of the school’s achievements in academics and co-curricular arenas.

Prizes were given away to the toppers and other students who had brought laurels to the school in various competitions and contests. Addressing on the occasion Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu, the Minister of Local Government, Tourism, Cultural Affairs lauded and praised the school for raising the educational standard in the city.

At the end Mr. Upendra Jain, the director thanked the chief-guest, dignitaries, and parents for having spared their time to attend the function; he also thanked students, teachers, and the Principal for organizing the function successfully.
