DELHI: Model Town's Arvind Gupta DAV Centenary Public School organised its Annual Sports and Cultural Meet 2017 on December 22 and 23 in the school premises on a grand scale with great fervor.
Chief guest Dr NK Uberoi, Vice President, DAV College Managing Committee and Guest of Honour, Sriram Singh Shekhawat (Padma Shri Arjuna Awardee for Athletics) graced the occasion with their presence. Eminent dignitaries, Managing Committee members, Principals of DAV Schools and neighboring schools, alumni and parents were also in attendance.
The meet commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries, and the singing of the 'DAV Gaan' evoked a feeling of unity in the fraternity.
The splendid and brilliant performances with a perfect blend of coordination and uniformity exhibited by the students in the March Past were a sight to behold. The School Band's perfect tunes mesmerised the audience.
