A DARK BANK DACOITY

Delhi,NCR, July 24 : A Dark Bank robbery was committed in the Cooch Behar Bazaar Branch of United Bank of India on 14th June at 10 p.m night time just before the public transaction was being closed. According to the Manager of the bank, a group of armed men raided the bank by snatching the rifle from the guard on duty at the gate. They broke open the lockers and took away jewelleries-gold, silver and cash worth about one crore. The customers and the staff members at the counter was silenced at a gun point. The dacots threw bomb while escaping in a white BMW car waiting at the other side of the road opposite the bank. The police were immediately informed of the incident but no arrest could be made till the report reached the press.
