The students of the pre-primary wing of the school celebrated Basant Panchami, the auspicious festival of the Hindus which marks the end of the winter season and the onset of spring season in North India.
The celebrations commenced with the Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for seeking knowledge and a prosperous life. This was followed by a dance on the song – 'He Sharde Maa' and a group action song – 'Aaya Basant'.
On this auspicious occasion all the students and teachers were dressed in yellow coloured attires and offered floral prayers. The students brought yellow coloured food in their tiffin boxes as well.
Last but not the least, the students of the pre- primary wing enjoyed the kite flying activity as they enjoyed in the school grounds.
