Book Exhibition was organized by St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa.
Department of Library in collaboration with Educational Books and Periodicals Mapusa and Broadways Book Centre, Panaji on 14th & 15th December 2021 at the College Library.
The exhibition was inaugurated by College Administrator, Fr. Antonio Salema along with Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Blanche Mascarenhas, Vice Principal, Ms. Sandra Fernandes, Library Advisory Committee members, faculty and Library Staff. It was open for students and staff between 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM. Books covering different fields as well by various publishers were showcased. The response was positive as many aspiring young readers including faculty were seen showing interest in some volumes.

: Like every year this year also the book fair was held at Doctor Ghanshyam Singh PG college at the college playground. The college playground was decorated gorgeously with colourful flags, festoons and various book stalls. Many famous publishers installed their book stalls in this book fair. Dey’s Publication, Parul Publication, Deep Publication sponsored there. Book fair is the only place where all types of books are available. People of different ages bike books according to their choice. The book fair was held only for 7 days long. People from nearby villages, towns had come to enjoy the book fair. Students from various schools also came and what books according to their choice. People of different tests bought books in this book fair.
