Children’s Day Celebration 2018-2019
International Indian Public School celebrated Children’s day on Wednesday 14 November 2018, with great festive fervour, to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. As Children’s day is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, who was extremely fond of children, the programme clearly depicted the spirit of the occasion.
The children’s day programme had a series of interesting and exciting events, all planned meticulously for a complete entertainment. The programme began with a special assembly conducted by the teachers, followed by an informative and inspirational speech by the Principal In-Charge Dr. Khalid Ahmed Khan about the great leader, thinker, visionary and a true statesman – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
The teaching faculty presented humorous skits which left a lasting impact on the students. To make the day more special and entertaining, the school also celebrated ‘Traditional Day’ on the same day. A variety of cultural events ranging from songs, Qawwali, dance and inspirational quotes were presented in different languages like Malayalam, Urdu, Kannada, Tamil, French, Marathi, Telugu and Arabic. ‘Unity in diversity’ was truly prudent.
As part of the children’s day celebration Special Care Centre organised an exhibition in the school premises, which was highly appreciated and was a grand success. With such a vast arena of cultural events and fun filled activities, it has proved to be a memorable day for the students.

The school field was chosen as a venue. A beautifully decorated stage was constructed. According to the headmaster, this year's Children's Day is dedicated to the infant children who study in the primary section of the school.
