It was the first club meeting day for all the clubs in the new academic year 2015 – 16. Our new club was formed by merging the English Literary Club and the Readers Club of the previous academic year. Club membership allotment was done afresh by the class Teachers on 16th April itself. As per the allotment, student members assembled in the 2nd floor activity Room after the morning assembly. The club had a chief Guest today and it was Prof. Mark Metzler Sawin from Eastern Mennonite University, America.
Mr. S. Sumanesh TGT(English) who anchored the programme, guided the chief guest to the activity room. All the club members extended a traditional welcome to him wishing ‘Namaste Sir!” with folded hands. The club secretary Mrs. D. Prema, Librarian delivered the inaugural address welcoming the Chief Guest and all the members. The club – in-charge Ms. B. Lekha, TG(English) addressed the gathering and presented the plan of action for the current academic year.
