The Flying Red Saucer

Bhopal, NOV 21 Jhumru, a village situated on the outskirts of Bhopal, drew large

crowds throughout yesterday as the news of a flying red saucer spread. The unidentified

flying object was first observed by Bhrigu in the early hours of the morning.

Bhrigu was visiting his fields as usual to run the waters when a rising disc-shaped

object caught his attention. He first thought it was a stuck kite but his curiosity was

aroused when it started rising higher and higher and emitted rays of red light every

now and then. Bhrigu rushed to his hut and called his son, though by then the object

had risen higher and only its red glow could be seen. Bhrigu, however, was sure that

he had not been hallucinating.

The news of the sight of this strange object spread like wildfire and many eyes were

fixed to the skies the whole day in the hope of its reappearance. Kanwarlal of the

neighbouring village said, "At last there is some excitement in our dull lives."
