A massive fire has broken out at Bagree market in Canning street, in central Kolkata. According to Kolkata Mayor and fire Minister Shovan Chatterjee, the fire broke out at 2.45 AM on Sunday. Around 30 fire tenders are trying their best to bring the blaze under control. So far no one has been injured, according to report. The fire continues to burn unabated even after 7 hours it started.

The process of bringing the fire under control is delayed because the entire area is extremely crowded. Multiple gas cylinders have exploded leading to fire gaining further steam.
