15th of December, 2020 (name of the school) : Our school organized a science exhibition on the 15th of December, 2020. The exhibition was spread over two days and had a number of students and teachers participating and collaborating hand in hand to make the event successful.

The science fair was named as "Progress of India'' . This exhibition was open to students from other schools as well as their parents. The schools were given invitation passes to visit.

The event started at 10 am and continued till 4 pm. The judging panel for the two days were different. They had to judge the participants that put up their display and give trophies to them.

On the 15th of December, 2020 the event was inaugurated by ( give a name of a personality). The event started by the Principal by giving a warm welcome speech and requested the chief guest to assist him in lighting the lamp.

The students of class 10 did an opening dance to begin the event post which the students set up their tables. The judges were accompanied by the students from class 11 and 12 and explained all the details of the event.

The judges went to each table and meticulously marked them according to their set up.

The announcement of the winners was announced the next day after all the judges had submitted their scores.

Class 10 came third , they had made charts explaining the Solar power tree in villages.

Class 9 achieved the second position and class 11th the first. Class 11th made an apparatus showing how music affects plant growth.

The event was a success and all the participants got a medal with a certificate.

Exhibition on Health Care

An exhibition on health care was held on The General English High School grounds on November 29th . There were many stalls, some of them providing free check – ups. Many doctors volunteered to be part of the Health Care Camp. There was free testing of eyes. The stalls were taken care of by the students of the school. Here charts and models prepared entirely by students were put up . One was on the care of the teeth and another one was on diabetes. There was an elaborate chart on physical fitness as well. The Chief Guest of the ceremony, Shri Ajith Kumar, was quite impressed by the efforts of the students and the school staff. He thought that this was a unique effort on the part of the school and was full of praise for the students in his speech .

The program began at 8 a.m. and lasted till 6 p.m. More than 700 children and parents visited the exhibition . All it was a grand  success.
