Holy Child Girls' Higher Secondary School; 6th September: A function was held in the school premises yesterday afternoon to celebrate one of the dearest programmes of school life, The Teacher's day.
This year it is celebrated by the students of class 10 and 12 standards. President of the school governing body, presided over the whole function, attended by a large number of students.
The program began with the opening ceremony of a new building and then volunteers distributed yellow roses to all of the teacher's. Then the function continued with an opening chorus song performed by the 10th-grade students.
Then followed by speeches about teacher's day by some selected students of both the grades. The Headmistress delivered a touching speech about the well being of students. In her speech, all the present students became overwhelmed and emotional.
