Well done to all the children who participated in Burlington’s Annual Inter-house cross country run on Wednesday. It was a great turn out with lots of children hoping to do their house proud!
Congratulations to the following boys and girls who came 1st in their year group:
Year 3: Ava Hewitt & Harry Dearing
Year 4: Alexis Hellewell and Kolbin Thorpe
Year 5: Abigail Dean and Stanley Hewitt
Year 6: Tegan Whitehand and Jack Bingham
Each child was given a score based on where they came, which then was totalled together with the scores of the rest of the children in their house. The results were as follows:
1st: Ennis
2nd: Farah
3rd: Murray
4th: Simmonds
Well done to all the children in Ennis, who will be going on a tour of the Hull City grounds in the summer term. Names will also be drawn from a
hat to see which 3 lucky children from this house will receive Hull City tickets!

INTER-HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY RACE
Apeejay Public School organised an Inter-house Cross Country Race for the students of secondary and senior secondary classes on 15th February, 2019. The 3 kilometre route for the cross country race passed through a variety of terrain including open fields, grassy areas, cemented areas and rocky terrain. The children made the most of this opportunity by participating in large numbers.
The race began at 10 am in the morning and lasted for over an hour. The Sports teachers Mr. Anil and Miss Mona Singh supervised the race with the help of a talented team of sports captains and prefects.
Ratna of class 9B from Shivaji House came first. The second and third position was grabbed by Vidushi and Rishabh from Nehru and Ashoka houses respectively. The winners were applauded and were awarded trophies by the School Principal. All participants received participation certificates.
