A road safety awareness program was held in M.B.D. Public School, Delhi on 2nd May, 2019 with zeal.
The main motive of the program was to spread awareness among people on road safety and to inculcate good measurements for road safety in students.
The school was decorated with posters, charts and balloons. Mr. R.K. Verma, Educational Officer, was consulted to be the Chief Guest. The school Principal welcomed the chief guest with flower bouquets.
Program was initiated with lamp ignition session in front of Maa Saraswati and after it the chief guest delivered a short speech guest on road safety.
Senior students of class XIth and XIIth showcased their presentation on road safety. Junior students of class VIIth to Xth presented a role play on the same topic.
Questionnaire session was also organised by the head boy and girl of tge school. At last, a rally on road safety was also organised outside of the school so as to make people aware and wary on road safety.
Overall, the program was very helpful and knowledgeable. The school Principal counted votes of thanks. A light refreshment was also distributed among students.
