One killed in Road Mishap
Lakhimpur, 12 Sept. : One person aged about fifty was killed while one sustained serious injury in a serious road accident that took place at KB Road, Lakhimpur. A taxi was coming from the South collided head on with a rickshaw coming from the opposite direction. The two rickshaw passenger were thrown away. The person who's age was fifty died on the spot while his companion sustained serious injury on his head and back. Blood were seen everywhere. There arose a hue and cry as the passer by in that area crowded the spot. Police came immediately and the injured was rushed to Lakhimpur Civil Hospital in an unconscious state. The driver of the taxi was arrested in dranken state. It took around half an hour for the police restore normalcy in the busy road.
