Saraswati Puja celebrated in school

Yesterday Saraswati puja was celebrated in our scool in a befitting manner in the school premises. It was full of fun. From the morning students gathered to worship the Goddess Saraswati maata.

A cultural programme was arranged to celebrate the day in grandeur. 'Chhuti', a play by Rabi Thakur was staged by the students of class 9 and 10. Recitations, Elocution and quiz contests were its part which enlightened the day.

This day was auspicious to the culture of Bengali people. The spiritual singing of raga songs made the weather looked extremely new. The buzzing of the day and the busy students in colourful dresses gave it a great new look.

The teachers and students made an aroma of cultivation of happiness in the day. At the end of the day, each student along with teachers were served various foods.

The sun rose in the morning and it set in the evening with the blessings of the goddess.
