SAFE DRIVE SAVE LIFE: NGO for Road Safety is a registered non-profitable organization. Since year 2009, it has been working in the field of road safety and traffic management in whole Rajasthan.
In association with transport and traffic police Rajasthan, SAFE DRIVE SAVE LIFE NGO for road safety is working for road safety education through awareness program and special sensitivity training to drivers by the help of workshops and helping the traffic police department to manage the traffic.
For last two years SAFE DRIVE SAVE LIFE NGO for road safety is celebrating road safety week in the January. We can proudly say that now whole Rajasthan, which includes schools, auto dealers, petrol pumps; NGO’s get involved for celebrating the road safety week.
SAFE DRIVE SAVE LIFE NGO for road safety has been successfully playing its role as coordinating body by involving Transport department, Traffic police Rajasthan, Development Authority and Municipal Corporation.
The road safety school/college education Programme vehicles rally, workshops, , red flag campaign for zebra crossing awareness, oath campaign for rules awareness, Challan campaign by school students, eye camp, headlight coloring, pollution check, reflectors and pamphlets distribution, essay competition and oath campaign at schools, an open questionnaire competition through newspapers, continuous flag of 4 wheelers across city to generate awareness, etc. conducted in collaboration with Rajasthan traffic police and Transport department, is based on an interactive and specially designed education module.
In a span of two years from 2009 to 2011 SAFE DRIVE SAVE LIFE NGO has covered more than fifty thousand students from 52 schools, collages and institutes (including government, public sectors) across Rajasthan.
It has been constantly pointed out by Government, experts of road safety and public opinion that the Education Functionality of Driving School is not as good as per the need of safety & sane driving methodology. Often is seen that many of the driving schools are just offered ‘come and drive’ tutorials but som
e of them have done great work in good teaching and safer learning of Driving. Main problem is that even after the presence of Driving School Association there is no written pattern of driving skills. Therefore, NGO is planning to establish a Driving Schools Council which will work on Road Safety.

Maharshi Parsuram HS Vs. Maharaja Agrasen HS Raghav Sinha Sports Secretary, Maharashi Parsuram HS. A One Day Cricket match was organised at Maharshi Parsuram HS between the host school and the team of Maharaja Agrasen HS to mark the Birth Anniversary of the legendary cricketer Lala Amarnath. The cricket ground had been well prepared to mark the occasion and the audience stands were packed to capacity. The event started with the introduction of the players with the Principal of the host school who then tossed the coin for the toss. The toss was won by the guest team who decided to bat first. The opening batsmen played very well and gave a good start to their team but after the fall of the first two wickets the entire batting line crumbled like a pack of cards. The guest team set a target of 116 runs in 15 overs for the host team to win. The opening batsmen of the host team failed to score anything but the middle order of the batting line up held their ground well and left the bowlers struggling to get them out. The host school won the match easily with 3 wickets and 2 overs in hand.Their joy knew no bounds when they triumphantly held the Champion's trophy in their hands. The Principal gave away the cash prizes to the winning team and the Man of the Match, Sandeep Mitra. The guest team was also given certificates and gifts to appreciate their efforts. The event came to a close with an inspiring speech by the Principal and the Vote of Thanks by the school head boy, Radhir Sen.
