                                 Blood Donation Camp

Greenwoods Global School celebrated the Independence Day with patriotic fervor and in a unique manner on August 14, 2018. A blood donation camp in collaboration with the Red Cross Society of the city was organized. Students, teachers, and parents donated blood enthusiastically and the collected blood was sent to Indian Armed Forces’ Hospitals across the nation.  

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Lata Sharma, the Principal thanked the students, teachers, and parents for actively taking part in the blood donation camp. Director, Mrs. Meena Sharda praised the staff for making the blood donation camp a huge success.

A  blood donation drive was held in our school on the Independence Day.The blood donation campaign was spearheaded by the Red Cross Society of India. It was held in our spearheaded by the local community of leaders.

Students gathered in the playground and sat down. The principal said a word of prayer and read a brief speech. The speech was about healthy eating, exercising,  and getting checked up at the local community hospital.

The students were sensitized on the importance of donating blood regularly.The students donated blodd and were provided with refreshments.

I was glad that I participated in the program. I made new friends that day.
