Further, a short video clip depicting Gandhi ji's struggle for Independence from the British Raj was shown to children present in the assembly.
As the event moved towards its closure, an interactive Quiz was conducted for the students sitting in the audience. Various questions related to the life of Mahatma Gandhi were posed and the students enthusiastically answered them. He also emphasized on benefits of virtues like honesty, simplicity, non-violence, etc. that sets an individual apart from those who believe in the path of violence and anger.
Since, Gandhi ji played a pivotal role in gaining independence using only non-violent methods, sensitizing the youth of today with his contributions and sacrifices was a must. The young generation of today, who believes in violence and fast paced ways of achieving goals in life, was sensitized with benefits and positive results one can achieve by following the path of Ahimsa and Satyagraha, which means moral domination.
