its important to celebrate independence day in schools , since in that small little way we are thanking the important people of our nation who helped us gain freedom and because on that day our nation gained freedom from the British , had that day not occurred , had we not got freedom ... maybe u and me we would still be slaves ...
 if the freedom fighters of our nation had not done what they did for our country we would still be suffering ... now they are no more , yet we haven't forgotten them , the saviours of our country  .. the only way for us to thank them is to enjoy our freedom and to celebrate and respect the day our country was finally free from british rule .... schools celebrating independence day is a good practice since that way the school  makes the children aware of one of the most important days of our country , the children get to realise how lucky they are , for they are not slaves ,they are free...
