The Army Public School, Vadodara organized a Cleanliness Drive under the mission of Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat Abhiyaan introduced by the Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
The main objective of this programme was to spread awareness among the students about the significance of Cleanliness and its benefits. All the students from classes 6th to 12th had participated in the program organised by our school.
Some of the students did the dusting of the rooms. And others went to the playground to pick wrappers and litter lying scattered there. The wastes were properly disposed of in the dustbins. The program concluded with a short speech given by the honourable principal.
To mark the ambitious mission of Clean India, Green India under the National Scheme of Swachh Bharat, Shresth Bharat, the students, faculties and correspondent staff of Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Kolkata contributed their part on Saturday.
The students of the college had organised a rally to promote the Swachh Bharat mission. Mass awareness was created with Various slogans as the active participants signified the importance of hygiene in making India “disease-free”.
The famous collective group of the college, Team ENACT, performed a short “Nukkad Natak”, a small skit in the local premises which was witnessed as well as applauded by the audience.
Broomsticks, mosquito coils and mosquito nets were distributed among the people dwelling in the
Shramdaan activities were also carried out at various streets of the nearby regions. Students had encouraged community people to join them in the Swachhata activity. Their participation in shramdan activity clearly reflected their willingness and interest to keep the surroundings clean and make India a better place to live. Thus, the students of the college took one step forward towards “Cleanliness”.
