CHANDIGARH: Claiming it to be a first of its kind initiative to sensitise people about Covid testing amid rumour mongering in the state, the Hoshiarpur administration on Thursday organised special awareness camps in villages with camps in village Powal and Rehsiwal.
Deputy Commissioner Apneet Riyait had issued directions to hold such camps to ensure 100 percent sampling and testing of residents in the district to keep the coronavirus at bay. She also directed that all the villages would be covered under this awareness endeavor for the safety of the public
