Van Mahotsav is type of festival which is celebrated for tree plantation is organized every year in the first week of July across all over India when millions of trees are planted on this beautiful day.
Van Mahotsav week from 3rd July to 7th July 2018 in the school campus.The celebration was an ideal opportunity to instil the value of social responsibility in the students towards safeguarding trees and forests and various activities.
Many students of class 10 and also other students participated in plantation programme where different types of medicinal plants like Neem, Aloe Vera, Basil e.t.c. were planted by the school Principal and other dignitaries.
Some students also participated in poster making competition to promote environmental awareness. Every student made a poster on the topic ‘GREEN EARTH, CLEAN EARTH’.
