World Food Day is celebrated every year around the world on 16 October in honor of the date of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945. 'World Food Day' is celebrated every year on '16th October'. It is an 'annual celebration' in the honour of the 'founding of Food and Agricultural Organization' by the 'United Nations in 1945'. It is celebrated worldwide by several agencies which works on food related activities like the World Food Program.
The main motive of these celebrations is to raise awareness about the food security and about the part of population in the world who are not able to have food security and suffers from hunger. It is celebrated to ensure that all the people are enabled with food security and are provided nutritious food. The focus of this celebrations are that Food is the basic human right and everyone in this world should have access to this right. At the same time it works for the people who still suffer from hunger and malnutrition.
