Answer:

Nelson Rohihlahiya Mandela was born on 18 July 1918. He was born in a small village named Mvezo located in Transkei, South Africa and his clan is Madiba. He studied as a lawyer before he got involved in the political issues. The political issue he was involved is the racial discrimination suffered by the blacks in the South Africa. The blacks were not given any rights to do anything freely. They were considered as the minority. Only the whites were included in the government. So this was a huge problem for the blacks. They suffered a lot. Mandela involved in this problem to stop the racial discrimination prevailed in south Africa. He spend 3 decades in the prison. Even he is in prison he continued the fight for a democratic and free society.

After he released from the prison, the people surrounded by him asked only one question that 'how he lived in the prison with free of anger even the whites tortured him and the society'. The answer of Mandela to this question was 'Ubuntu'.

Ubuntu is a Nguni Bantu concept. The concept of Ubuntu is humanity and open heartedness and this was the light that sparked in Mandela. Mandela thought that if he would not leave his anger from the mind he could not get out from this prison. So he leaved all the anger and fought for the blacks in the country. He also kept forgiveness in his mind and also he removed all the anger from the mind and because of that he succeeded in his freedom fight and elected as the President of South Africa. He was also awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his peaceful mind. He is the ultimate example of courage and peace.

So in our mind we also want Ubuntu which keeps us relieved from the anger and makes our mind peaceful and open hearted and which brings us succession in life. So everyday we want to make a Mandela day to succeed in our life. We want to keep this Ubuntu project in our mind to make everyday a Mandela day.
