Answer:

heyy mate ur ans is here

Explanation:

Intense rain for 3 consecutive days, in the upper efgh area resulted in severe flooding of the low lying ijkh village and its surrounding areas. The rain which started on 23rd, increased in intensity over the next 2 days.

The flood waters seem to have abated by today (26.12.2018), but the situation still looks grim. We could only travel on foot and in certain places by small boats. The mark left by rising water level showed clearly on the walls and other still standing structures. Some houses had been washed away and trees, poles and other debris blocked our path in most places.

The Indian Army and Navy had already begun rescue and clean-up operations and could be seen in most places. They had also set up temporary medical facilities to treat the injured. Brave men and women of the Services could be seen distributing food, water and blankets to survivors.

Though difficult to estimate at this stage, the rebuilding of ijkh village will take at least 6 – 8 months.
