Hundreds of people were trapped at that time and the Fire extinguisher were called along with the police .At there arrival thee Police first removed the people and media from around the tower .After the clearing up of the area the fire extinguisher started to extinguish fire and a part of there team were send into the tower to rescue some thirty men twelve women and five children. Ambulances were called later.
IT took about three hours to extinguish the fire and to save every one.Among those around fifty residents ,all were rescued safely except two men ,three women and two children and a eleven months child who were severely injured.
One men and three women were later found to be safe as said by the doctors they were unconscious as they inhaled smoke and carbon dioxide and suffered severe burns also. But the rest were a serious in which two children and the eleven months were found dead while reaching the hospital. They were rushed to the hospital and fire could be controlled only after the arrival of the fire brigade. The scene was of complete disaster, nothing could be saved. It was found later that fire broke out due to short circuit in one of the nearby shops.
