The school set a new trend by inviting Mahesh Pavar, a volunteer at the Akanksha Foundation, an NGO, as their chief guest. The flag hoisting took place at 8 am followed by the singing of the national anthem and the recitation of the pledge. Many cultural performances were presented by the students of the school.
