At my school, Year 13 students are allowed to leave early if they have a free period. This isn't exactly a rule, but it has become the norm.

Unfortunately, although we can leave early, we're not allowed to come in late if we have free periods in the morning.

If I were the principal, I would allow students who have free periods to come in later. This would help people like me who prefer to work late, sleep late and get up late, instead of going to bed early and getting up early.

If I were the school principal, I would allow students to eat in the street outside the school.

Students usually have lots of extra-curricular activities or tutorial lessons after school, so they may not have time to eat some food beforehand. They may even have their dinner very late.

Some food also needs to be eaten immediately, such as ice cream and milkshake.

Most importantly, eating on the street won't damage the school's image. Eating is a normal human need. Therefore, people won't have a good or bad impression about a school just because its students are seen eating on the street.

As the "supreme leader", I would strictly enforce the rule that bans students from playing online games at school.

The offenders take up a lot of bandwidth on the school network and might cause problems for other students who are actually being productive.

There is such a rule in our school, but it hasn't stopped some students from playing online games. We need to stop this kind of behaviour.

The school dress code states we are not allowed to wear denim shorts. This is unfair because a lot of the more modest shorts people have are made of this cotton fabric.

I can see why the school does this - to prevent people wearing ripped denim shorts that are too short.

However, they should ban only ripped denim shorts, instead of all types. It would make our lives a lot easier when choosing clothes to wear to school.

My schoolmates and I are not allowed to stay in classrooms or hang around corridors during the lunch break for security reasons.

All doors are closed at 1.15pm and opened again at 1.40pm. Afternoon lessons start at 2.05pm, so there's still time for people to steal things if they really want to. Here's my point. Why not leave the doors open and let the students protect things themselves
