Answer:

football match, it’s important to do an effective job. A skilled sportswriter does more than simply regurgitate the scores. Instead, he gives readers a front-row seat to the action and also provides them with behind-the-scenes information. Fans can read the box score to know who scored when, and who was penalized, but they’ll read your report if it gives them more than the basics.

Take extensive notes while watching the match. It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of the sport, but every good reporter takes notes as he watches. Your notes should be more than the shots, goals and penalties. Instead, include information that goes beyond the scores, such as the reaction of the players and fans, confrontations between players and coaches and the atmosphere of the stadium.

Gather as many quotes as possible following the match. This is usually done in the locker rooms after players are made available for the media. Obtain quotes that add life to your story by avoiding simple questions. Dig deeper during the interview process to get a quote no other reporter has.

Write the key information to your story early. The reader should know the score, goal scorers and any ramifications that come out of the game in the first two paragraphs.

Use quotes to reinforce messages in the story, but ensure each quote adds something useful. Don’t just include a quote to show you interviewed a player. If he didn’t say anything of merit, the quote shouldn’t be included. Use your strongest quotes early to intrigue the reader and keep him reading.

Football is an outdoor team sports played enthusiastically across the globe. All the nations are unified by this one sport. It consists of two teams of eleven players each who choose their sides, which are materially the sides of the football ground where each goal post is located, opposite to each other. The players pass the football amongst themselves to score a goal against the other team by shooting (kicking) the ball into their goal post. But it ain’t as easy as it seems, the other team has a goalkeeper at the goalpost whose task is to prevent the ball from reaching inside the goalpost. He can either stop or deflect the ball but the ball shan't reach the goalpost at any cost. This contains other twists and turns including avoiding the defenders of the other team.

The most earliest form of this sport was known as “cuju”, played by the Chinese emperor with his ministers. This sport is also known as “soccer” in many countries to distinguish it from another type of “football” which is rather rugby. FIFA, a popular body, is the highest governing body of this game. This game has given popularity to well-known players like Lionel Messi and Ronaldo. It is also a part of the Olympics.

The players are forbidden from touching the ball with their hands or arms except if they are a goalkeeper within the penalty area. Football follows the same rule that is common to many sports, the team with the highest goals wins the game at the end. If the score is equal, then either the match is a draw or extra time is assigned.

FIFA has been constantly making rules to make the game more fair. But it is all rather for official games. Football’s spirit is from the local streets or grounds to international stadiums where live matches are held. It is played professionally or passionately. It is a sport that everyone enjoys.
