Mumbai, June 30 : Heavy rains in the city threw normal life out of gear today with the rail Service hit due to flooding of tracks in various low - lyingy areas .

The central line of the suburban rail network was stopped early on Saturday morning due to flooding at many points on the line, a spokesperson for CR said. Many outstation trains were also delayed and some have been cancelled due to d Rains, he said Eastern railway authorities said that there was a delay of abt 25 - 30 min in schedule as a result of the rains but train service were operational.
