MOHALI: A two day Science Exhibition was held at the premises of SIS Public school, 7 Phase Mohali. The students from different schools both from primary and secondary level participated in the exhibition with great scientific temperament and exhibited their knowledge about science and its innovations.

ADVERTISEMENTThey presented both still and working models depicting different themes such as Water conservation, health and hygiene, Mathematics modelling and digital and tech solutions. Demonstrations and explanations were given by the participants and the spectators including teachers were greatly impressed by their performances.

ADVERTISEMENTThere was a Teaching Aid Making competition for the teachers also.Ravinder Kaur, Deputy District Education Officer, PSEB and Inderjeet Kaur Sandhu, Principal Of SIS Public School, Mohali presided over the event to motivate and applaud the participants. The closing ceremony of the event was carried out zealously by the students of SIS Public school wherein they displayed their talents by showcasing scintillating performances of Bhangra dance and an educational mime.


Both the participants and the winners were applauded and rewarded with trophies. Ravinder congratulated the winners and remarked that Science is a blessing but should be used with discretion. Students accepted the feedback with scope for further development. Inderjeet Kaur Sandhu encouraged the students to set higher aims in life and remarked that Science and its temperaments should be used in a balanced way to lead a simple and a happy life. The event provided a platform for the budding students to express their creativity and gain confidence.
