(The scene is Mrs Packletide, Miss Louisa Mebbin, Mrs Loona Bimberton and the village headman are meeting after two years of the tiger hunt; all the secrets are known to everyone)
Mrs Packletide: In retrospect, I feel so ashamed of my self for having taken so much of trouble to outsmart Loona. I realise now, life's other issues are far far more important than feeding just one's ego!
Mrs Loona Bimberton: I agree with you. That youthful rivalry between the two of us was a source of some pleasure, but this friendship is far more pleasure giving than that madness when we used to feel so jealous of each other.
Miss Mebin: Out of you all, I am the most wretched and mean. I was so selfish! I blackmailed my own employer. I was a taught a lesson by God for being so money minded. I am really sorry to Madam for being so mean.
The village headman: That's really a very strange incidence! Ultimately, a poor old tiger fell prey to our acts of greed! If this meanness continues, all the tigers, and then all the other precious animals in all the forests will die. We must be careful about environment. Let's all vow today that we will stop being mean and greedy and care for all fellow beings and animals.
All together: We vow!
