XYZ Senior Secondary School has won first prize in the inter school band competition held in Ambala city on Thursday, March 1, 2019. The school has won this prize by scoring maximum points among ten schools of the city. A choir of eight members participated in the competition and each member is awarded with a cash prize of Rs 5000 each.
School principal, Mr. ABC said that we are proud of our students and the hard efforts that they put in. The group will now participate at the state level band competition.
4th March: Kolkata: Our school St. Thomas has won the first prize in band competition. It was a competition in national level, where total 250 schools have participated.
All the bands were led by school students and instruments were played by the school students. St Thomas performed in light classic based tunes of oriental type and it attracted huge applause from the audience as well as from the judges.
