It stands near Cairo.It is one of the Seven wonders in the ancient world and the only one to remain most intact.wheen it was built it was 146.5 m tall. It was the largest building in the world for over 3,800 years,but erosion and other causes have made it to 138.8 .The pyramid was most probably built for Khufu,An Egyptian Pharaoh.It was perhaps built by Khufu's vizier, Hemiunu.It is said that it took 20 years to build and was completed in 2570BC.
