the two factors responsible for the rise of independent states in India were :

(a) the wars of succession ahead become a tradition among the Mughals. This deteriorated the political and the financial condition of the Empire .

(b) the Emperors after Aurangzeb were unable to arrest the gradual shifting of political and economic authority into do the hands of provisional governors .
