Evelyn Glennie lost her hearing complete at the age of eleven and her teacher asked her mother to put her into a special school for deaf but she wanted to live a normal life and was not ready to give up and once she saw someone playing xylophone and she decided that she would play it. everyone discouraged her but at the age of sixteen she auditioned for the royal music academy and scored the highest marks in the history of academy and now she was not going to look back...and did many concerts and became a great musician...
Hope it helps :)
