Once Upon a time, a small boy name John was living with his mother in a village near a forest.

John was very good at heart, he was always ready to help others.

One day when John was going through the forest, he heard someone’s groaning

john walked towards the direction of sound.Suddenlyhe saw a lion was groaning and moaning in pain. A sharp thorn had passed through his claw. The Lion was unable to help himself, so he was crying for help. When John saw the Lion in pain, he rushed to help him.John took out the thorn from the Lion’s claw and wrapped his T-shirt on the wound. After that day, Lion and John became very good friend. The lion was very protective towards the John.John used to sit on Lion’s back and roam around in the forest. One day when John was roaming around sitting on the lion’s back, his friends saw himfrom a distance.John’s friends were scared of lion, so they started to boycott John, as they had fear of some danger from the lion.John was disappointed to see the change in behavior of his friends. So to avoid the rejection, John told his friendsthat the animal is actually a dog but dueto his size and built it looks like a lion.John’s friends got convinced to the factthat the animal is actually a dog insteadof a lion. But the lion felt very bad, because John had to tell lie because of him. Also being the king of forest, he did not like to be called as a dog.Lion asked John to tell the truth to his friends and assured them that he will never attack on any of them. He said “True friends understand each other “; but John did not have courage to tell the truth. He kept on calling lion as a dog in front of his friends. The lion was very disappointed, so one night he left the forest and John and never came back again.John lost lion as his very good friend. He realized that he cannot make everyone happy, also friendship cannot last forever on the ground of lies.
