kabir was born in 1440. he was a weaver by profession . he tried to become bridge between hindus and muslims . he said not by caste but by deeds on e can be near to god. moreover he was great poet . his couplets and dohas r still recited . he died in 1550 at maghar in gorakhpur . after his death his followers followed a path known as kabir panth.

Kabīr was a mystic poet and saint of India, whose writings have greatly influenced the Bhakti movement.He was born in 1440 in Varanasi and died in 1518 in Maghar.His movies were Seers and Clowns. He was married and had 2 children Kamaali and Kamaal. He write books for example: "The Weaver's Song", etc.
