1) Due to the local temperature and winds, Rainfall occurs in some places in April and May. These are called as Kala Baisakhi in West Bengal . these are also called norwesters and the cause considerable damage.

2) Mango showers is the name of the pre-monsoon showers in Karnataka, Kerala, Konkan and Goa 

3) loo is a strong gusty summer wind which blows over Pakistan and northern part of India.
