Alauddin Khilji had been the Khilji dynasty’s most powerful ruler. He was the first Delhi sultan to conquer Southern India. Malik Kafur was Alauddin Khilji’s Commander who attacked South India.
Around 1309 and 1313 Malik Kafur defeated the Devagiri Yadavas, the Warangal Kakatiyas, the Dwarasamudra Hoyasalas and the Madurai Pandyas.
