Explanation:

The rate of evaporation is affected by the following factors:

Temperature: The rate of evaporation increases with an increase in temperature.

Surface area: The rate of evaporation increases with an increase in surface area.

Humidity: The amount of water vapour present in the air is called humidity.

Explanation:

the factors are-

1) temperature- the higher the temperature the higher the rate of evaporation, as temperature is directly proportional to rate of evaporation.

2)surface area- more surface area means higher rate of evaporation.

3)wind speed- for higher rate of evaporation there is a need for higher wind speed.

4) moisture/humidity- the higher humidity the less rate of evaporation, the lower humidity the higher rate of evaporation. as humidity is inversely proportional to rate of evaporation
