Alauddin Khalji was the second and most powerful ruler of Khalji dynasty that ruled the Delhi Sultanate in Indian Subcontinent. He ruled from1296 --1316.He built Alauddin Khalji tomb in 1315 in Madras. The administration of Alauddin Khalji were measures quite successful .
